Your privacy is of great importance to Samzwam. We strictly adhere to privacy legislation (GDPR). This means your data is safe with us and we use it responsibly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we at the webshop Samzwam do with the information we learn about you.

2. What data do we use and why?
When you place an order with us or visit our website, we use various data.
Order Processing
When you order something from us, we use your personal data to process the order correctly. We may provide your data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.

Payments
To handle payments, we work with partners such as Mollie, PayPal, and Shopify Payments. They process your name and payment details in a secure environment.
Reviews & Customer Satisfaction
After a purchase, we may invite you to leave a review via platforms such as Trustpilot or Google. This helps other customers and helps us improve our service. You are never obliged to leave a review.

Newsletter
In the future, we may send a newsletter to keep you informed about our offers, growing tips, and new products. We do this only with your explicit consent or because you are already a customer. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe immediately.

3. Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data to third parties. However, we do work with parties that are necessary for our service delivery. We make agreements with these parties (processors) to guarantee your privacy:
- Shopify: Our store platform. Data may be stored on Shopify servers (including outside the EU, with appropriate security measures).
- Payment Providers: Mollie, PayPal, Shopify Payments.
- Delivery Services: PostNL, DHL (to deliver your package).
- Review Partners: Trustpilot, Google.
- Accountant: For our administrative obligations.
4. Cookies & Google Analytics
Our webshop uses cookies. These are small files where we can store information so that you do not have to fill it in every time. But we can also use them to see that you are visiting us again.
We use Google Analytics 4 to track how visitors use our webshop. We have signed a data processing agreement with Google. Strict agreements have been made about what they are allowed to track. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services.
5. Security
The security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is well protected with us. For example, we use secure connections (SSL/TLS) that shield all information between you and our website when you enter personal data or make a payment.
6. Retention Period
We do not keep your data longer than necessary.
- We keep customer data as long as you are a customer with us.
- Data required for the Tax Authorities (such as invoices with your name and address) must legally be kept for 7 years. After that, this data will be deleted or anonymized.
7. Your Rights
If you have questions or want to know what personal data we have about you, you can always contact us. You have the following rights:
- Get an explanation about what personal data we have and what we do with it.
- Access to the precise personal data we have.
- Having errors corrected.
- Having outdated personal data removed (right to be forgotten).
- Withdrawing consent (for example, for the newsletter).
- Objecting to a specific use.
Please note that you must always clearly indicate who you are, so that we can be sure that we do not modify or delete data of the wrong person.
8. Complaints
Do you feel that we are not helping you in the right way? Please contact us first, and we will look for a solution together. If we cannot work it out, you have the right under privacy legislation to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
