Discover the pleasure of growing chestnut mushrooms with our high-quality chestnut mushroom (Pholiota Adiposa) plugs. This product is specially designed for inoculating logs, branches and stumps, so that you can enjoy the unique flavour of chestnut mushrooms in an environmentally friendly way.

Ideal for food lovers and nature lovers. Our chestnut mushroom dowels allow you to grow these tasty mushrooms in your garden. The dowels are 35 mm long and 8 mm in diameter and are available in packs of 25, 50 or 100 pieces. To protect the plugs after you have put them into the drilled holes, we also supply wax with this product.

Chestnut mushrooms are really good for your health, because they are packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They fit perfectly into a healthy diet and you can use them in all kinds of tasty dishes

Instructions for using the dowels:

  1. Choose a suitable hardwood log or stump, such as oak or beech.
  2. Drill holes about 3.5 cm deep, spaced 10 cm apart in a diamond pattern.
  3. Place the plugs in the holes and make sure they fit properly.
  4. Use the supplied wax to seal the holes, which protects the dowels.
  5. Place the inoculated log or stump in a shady spot.

Inoculated logs start producing mushrooms within 6-18 months and can keep yielding for several years.
