Discover how enjoyable and simple it is to grow your own pioppino with our Pioppino spawn - 80 grams. This mycelium rich spawn is meant for pioppino: a soft, slightly nutty cap on a firm stem that stays crunchy after cooking.

Mix the spawn into pasteurised hardwood sawdust or wood pellets in a bucket or grow bag, or use it to inoculate fresh poplar or willow logs. We ourselves have by far the most success with pioppino outdoors, in partial shade: there it follows the season and comes mainly in late summer and autumn, as soon as it turns humid. Indoors, humidity and light matter more than the exact temperature.
